Still Smiling

One thing that I have learned through adversity and watching my nephew and niece go through painful medical procedures and just a difficult life in general is that smiling just makes it better. Three days after having a feeding tube inserted, surgery on her eye and being blind for several days McKenzie started smiling again on her way home. It was the first smile my sister had seen since the surgery and I was lucky enough to catch it.

Thank you so much for your prayers. McKenzie is doing awesome. She even was able to get the eye patch off today. We praise God daily for McKenzie, thank you for praying with us.
