  1. Heather,
Do you really get heat there, or is it just hotter than the winter? Oddly enough, not a sarcastic question this time...I'm curious.

Now I'm possibly showing my age again (I seem to be doing that a lot lately), but have you heard the Puff the Magic Dragon song? It's old, like from my childhood, and kind of folksy.

I looked up doula to verify I knew what it was, because really? I've never known anyone that has done that kind of thing. That was something totally new I found out about you.

I love Little Bear. So does Hubby. I miss him. My kids are too old to like to watch him anymore. Sometimes we can squeeze in an episode before they bolt.

  2. Hey Kayren - Yep, we get hot...really hot! During late July and August we tend to get over 100. I actually don't really enjoy that, but most of the summer we are late 80s to early 90s.

I have heard the song. I used to watch the cartoon when I was little. I remember crying whenever I saw the movie and when I read the book I almost cried in my bosses office.

Well, if you can have a friend (like Reese) come stay with you with a 3 year old, you can sneak in some extra episodes of Little Bear. He's my favorite, along with Franklin!

I don't think doulas have become really popular, and I doubt the doctors at our one hospital would be too receptive of it, but there is nothing better to me then watching a baby be born.

  3. I almost mentioned Franklin, and then I backspaced and erased it. Funny you said it anyway. I love him, too. Arthur is my favorite on PBS.
