33 Years and Counting

Guess who was born today, 33 years ago?! The one-and-only, sweet as pie, lovely HEATHER!

For the past 16 years Heather has been a part of my life and in that time she has become not only a friend, but truly a sister. She is one of the most compassionate people I've ever met and I would trust her with my life. Some people never meet someone like Heather, and if you know her, you're blessed.

Heather, today I pray that God blesses you a million times over and pours out his grace on you in the coming year. May you be refreshed and spend the day glorying in every hour of your 33 years! You aren't old yet-- but you'll always be older than me! (I make a point of always looking at the bright side!)

I love you!

  3. Thanks you guys! We celebrated my bday yesterday and it was awesome! I even got a 24 pack of Pepsi for my bday! LOL!

How do you love that pic? That was taken in Italy, after walking for 10 hours, and finally finding my good friend Pepsi, and paying $8 for it! LOL!

    Love you guys! Heather

  5. I read once that October 6th is the most common birthday. Interesting if it is, huh?!

  6. OH! I was offby a day! I Googled it and found this:

    Dear Yahoo!:
What is the most common birthday?
    David
    Denver, Colorado

    Dear David:
We found several references to this question on the Web, all pointing to the same source: a survey of 12,576 Americans conducted by Anybirthday.com.

Answers like this one from the Fredericksburg Free Lance-Star cite the study's finding of October 5 as the date the most people (in the U.S., anyway) are born. The 2001 report claims approximately 968,000 living Americans entered the world on that date.

So why October 5? Just a random date? Perhaps, but Anybirthday has a theory: To be born on this date, a baby would most likely have been conceived on New Year's Eve.

The survey also found May 22 to be the least common birthday. As yet, no guesses as to what it is that happens in late August (nine months prior to that date) that routinely turns so many people off. Perhaps it's just too darn hot?

  7. Reese - I had heard that about my birthday too, but I have never met anyone with my birthday. When I heard it was the most common day, I did the math and figured out New Years - LOL!!

Hmmm, two of my kids' birthdays are right around May 22nd, that's very interesting! LOL!

Amy - Thank you! It has been a wild ride and I'm glad I've been on it with you! I love you!

  9. Happy Birthday, Heather!

Since Reese is giving you a hard time about being older, I'll make you feel better. By the end of the year I'll be ten years older than you.

So happy to have met you in the bloggy world. Maybe our paths will cross someday...that space A doesn't sound so bad.

    Have a super day!

  10. Hey, Happy Birthday DB!!!

Hope you had a great day! 'Tis true, you have always been such an awesome, caring friend. We go way back to the days of Pneuma, Contenders & The Stronghold, and probably a bit further. That's what, somewhere around 1987, '88 or '89? So about 20 years I guess! Man it has been a long time.

P.S. This is the first time I have ever left a comment in Crazyville, though I do keep up with it most of the time. So now you know it really must be a landmark day today!

    Love, Tim
(Yes all you friends of the Crazyville Girls, Reese's Tim)

  11. Wow! I feel very special to have you comment on my birthday. We should have you as a guest blogger sometime! That could be very fun.

We have been friends a long time! I can't believe it's been 20 years, we have been friends through a lot of the many haircuts of Tim ;) Reese should do a mosaic of that! LOL!!!

Thanks for being so amazingly awesome.

    Love, Heather
